[a boutique creative content company]
April 2004 - March 2007
As EP and Line Producer for Director (writer & editor) Marcel Lundberg on two extensive documentary projects for high-level NFP organizations I was privileged with the task of creating a legacy. And in the process, becoming familiar with the “business” of 501c3 organizations that have the dubious task of needing to create “marketing” propaganda without any real marketing budget. The result were two films that serve not only as tools for the organizations for which they were created, but as archival pieces of history including one of the most extensive filmed interviews of David Rockefeller Sr.

Unit Production Manager [Add'l Photography] / This Thing of urs [feature film]
The UPM is the Production Manager of the feature film world. For this particular indie feature there was one ‘big’ shoot day where the film’s producers were able to pull in celebrity actors such as James Caan, Vincent Pastore (Big Pussy from The Sopranos) and Frank Vincent and a few other notables, and I was brought in to help manage this beast of a shoot day.

Unit Production Manager / Infested [feature film]
Written & Directed by Josh Olson prior to his Academy Award Nomination for the "History of Violence" screenplay, Infested was my first foray into the world of independent feature filmmaking. The movie was one of the first to be shot completely with digital filmmaking technology and was photographed by digital cinematography maven, David Mullen. It was billed as a “vampire-fly-zombie movie loosely based on The Big Chill” who which we camped out on the North Fork of Long Island for a month-long shoot which proved to be the most challenging summer camp-type experience of my life. We came in on time and on budget and had a blast in the process. This was a prime example of maintaining a positive work environment for an extended period of time in often stressful and adverse conditions.
